Grant Description

The goal of this proposal is to integrate regenerative medicine education in the medical curriculum to promote physicians-in-training to think differently using a restorative approach to healthcare and engineer innovative solutions to address the unmet needs for patients. Statewide expansion of an existing regenerative medicine education curriculum will be achieved by offering scholarships to Minnesota medical students to attend the Regenerative Medicine and Surgery Selective (RMSS) course in addition to publishing the RMSS content into an accessible guide for medical students. Successful implementation of this proposal will engage medical students across Minnesota in the principles of regenerative medicine that are rapidly transforming the clinical practice and will encourage future physicians to participate in pioneering curative therapies.
